McNamara Smith LLP, a small downtown litigation law firm, is seeking an Office Administrator. Our ideal candidate has prior administrator experience and is familiar with the office management issues that arise in a law firm. Duties include managing our administrative functions, human resources, monthly billing (knowledge of Timeslips), and accounts receivable and payable (knowledge of QuickBooks and ability to coordinate with our outside CPA). We are looking for someone who can lead office operations, implement appropriate procedures, assist in evaluating infrastructure purchases, and generally be a creative and thoughtful resource. Understanding of law firm marketing and information technology is preferred. We have a collaborative and collegial work environment and our administrator works closely with the partners.

Ideally, the candidate will be available full time, but we will consider part time for the right candidate. Ultimately, fit is more important than specific hours.
