Our client, a small and well-established Law Firm is seeking their Office Manager. They offer a friendly, business casual environment and an excellent benefits package. The Office Manager should feel comfortable scheduling attorney and client meetings, managing the workflow of the paralegals and legal secretaries, training new staff, data entry, and providing administrative assistance to a management team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage records and information
• Human resources – employee relations and onboarding
• Approving time off requests of administrative support staff and reviewing for accurate payroll
• Managing the workflow of the paralegals and legal secretaries
• Provide administrative assistance to management team
• Encourage and improve cross-department internal communication
• Preparing subpoenas and other legal documents
• Handle legal research
• Prepare memos and other correspondence
• Create client files
• Train new staff
• Schedule attorney and client meetings
• Perform other office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, etc.)
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree + 5-10 years of Office Management experience
• Previous experience in the legal industry or similar
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong leadership qualities
• Human Resources Experience
