Miller, Monson, Peshel, Polacek, & Hoshaw, a Partnership of Professional Law Corporations (MMPPH) has a paralegal retiring and therefore looking to fill position for a full-time paralegal with knowledgeable experience in drafting estate plans including revocable and irrevocable trusts with ancillary documents. - Minimum 5 years’ experience in complex estate planning
- Proficient in trust administration, probate and corporate law (a plus)
- College degree and Paralegal certificate
- Notary license (a plus)
- Experience with calendaring, legal research, and electronic filing
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, WordPerfect, Excel, Clio and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to work with both physical files and electronic documents
- Excellent organization, attention to details, and attentive to deadlines
- Able to independently prioritize workload and manage workflow effectively
- Comfortable supporting multiple attorneys and ability to work well within a team
- Client service oriented with responsive interpersonal and communication skills
MMPPH provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision, flexible spending account (FSA), commuting/parking allowance, reimbursed MCLE and an employer contributed 401(k). We are generous with our sick/vacation/holiday pay and provide breakfast on Wednesdays and catered lunches at the end of the month. Competitive pay/compensation depending on experience is $60k-$80K.
