Law Firm – CFO – Los Angeles

The ideal candidate will lead the financial health and future growth of a dynamic, high growth litigation firm based out of Los Angeles. This executive level role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance and strategic planning. The role requires a deep understanding of legal billing practices, trust accounting and law firm performance metrics.

Qualifications:

· 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
· 5+ years in a senior finance role (Controller, CFO, or equivalent), preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
· Extensive experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and strategy
· Deep knowledge of law firm billing, trust accounting, and cost management
· Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and Excel. NetSuite experience preferred.
· Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
